Fine art sessions are something that I do that is a bit unique.
What sets a fine art portrait session apart? This type of session is not just one where we 'go take pictures'. There is a purpose behind the message we are trying to convey with our images. These sessions are pre planned from the color pallets, the locations, props, the lighting the textures of clothing etc. Everything is intentional. Almost any image can be edited in the fine art fashion but not all sessions are 'fine art' sessions.
The images we capture tells a story or conveys something personal about the subject of the portrait. It is meant to be emotionally compelling, to make you 'feel' a certain way.
Honestly, these sessions are more challenging to bring to fruition than a standard family session or a birthday photoshoot, but the outcomes floor me. It is my favorite type of portraiture.
What story would your fine art session tell?
